The RAD! Swimsuit Shoot

On Thursday, I had a photo shoot for the swimsuits that will be available for sale in my boutique, The RAD! Shop! 

This was my third time working with the model, Dior. She's so beautiful and sweet and she's so goofy that the shoots never feel that long or have a dull moment lol. 

I did a little bit of styling work, but not too much because this shoot was more about showcasing the swimsuits.

Styling Portfolio

After searching and searching for a site where I could host my stylist portfolio, I finally found somewhere suitable. I am the newest member of the Krop Creative Database!

I host my portfolio there, with my own custom domain and I'm able to edit my profile as freely as I like. It's a great tool and I recommend it to models, photographers, and other stylists that want somewhere to host their portfolio. It's very professional looking (and your portfolio should be professional looking. No I'm clearly having a photo shoot in a house shots allowed.).

The RAD! Shoot

This past Sunday, I styled another shoot with Dior. This time I got to style her in some pieces from my upcoming boutique, The RAD! Shop. The scenery was very edgy and I loved playing with the looks so that they meshed with each backdrop.

Do Work

So this past Thursday, I styled a shoot at Piedmont Park with an up and coming model named Dior. She was so gorgeous and full of energy and I had so much fun at the shoot that it definitely did not feel like work!

The shoot was outside and had a Spring theme, so I made sure to incorporate bright prints, neons, and tons of strappy sandals into the shoot.

Check out the three looks I created below:

Match the intensity of a boldly-printed dress with colorful sandals.

When mixing prints, make sure the prints have at least one color in common so you look trendy, not tacky.

Neons look great when paired with neutrals and minimal jewelry.

Building my Portfolio

So I recently started an online portfolio for my wardrobe styling skills. I'm excited because I will actually have something to physically link people to now when they ask to see my work.

Until I upgrade my account, I'll only have five photos but that will do for now. I look forward to going on more photo shots and expanding my skill set && portfolio.

FLP Photoshoot

So me, D'Mani && Alden have been hard at work to make sure that our first event, Pyramids, is a success! We had a photo shoot before I left for New York for the fliers for Pyramids.

I styled a model by myself, D'Mani styled one by herself && then we joined forces on the last model.

Lol the title of this post makes me laugh! But it's so true...Gimy is beautiful && an amazing model!

I styled a photoshoot on Monday && I'm really happy with the looks that I came up with...

D'Mani chose accessories from this cool store in the Bazaar && then we were good to go!

Another Day In the Life of a Fashion Stylist Intern

Today we changed the guy mannequin && I'm happy with what I came up with. :)

I'm happy that I'm getting more practice styling guys! I'm getting an eye for male trends && what does && doesn't look good together. I can only get better at my craft...

A Day In the Life of a Fashion Stylist Intern

I intern at Fearless Weirdos, a boutique in Little Five Points as a fashion stylist intern. I've had so much fun there so far!

Today I styled three random models && I'm pleased with my results.

New Endeavors

So I'm adding personal shopper to the ever expanding lists of titles that I've earned!

A friend of mine asked me to come to the mall with her && pick out her outfit, accessories && shoes for the club that night! I was really excited with what we came up with && I think she looked amazing!

Another friend asked me to help her pick out shoes for her mother's wedding!

Fashion Shoot for Jerde Magazine

On Sunday I styled a photo shoot for Jerde Magazine with another stylist (more on him in a later post because that man had me in AWE). It was an amazing experience, I learned a lot and I had a lot of fun! Here are some behind the scenes pics!

The guys. We switched his Converse to a pair of boots. I wish I had gotten a picture because it looked nice. Grr! :/

Carlea! This girl is an AMAZING model! She got her shots for this outfit in 5 takes! She is GOOD at what she does! && she is also opening up a boutique. I hope to work with her on that so you guys will probably see more posts on it!
