I love being recognized for my style and nothing is more awesome than someone deciding that your style is amazing enough for them to feature you on their blog! :)

Back in July, I was in Little Five Points doing a bit of shopping when I was asked to take a picture because the guy liked my outfit.

Celebrity Style Star of the Week

Wow. I can't remember the last time I did a Celeb Style Star of the Week post. I've been so busy and I haven't been inspired by too many celebs.

However, I follow Vashtie on Instagram and besides her being totally and completely gorgeous you cannot deny how fly that girl is! She is definitely one of my style inspirations. I love how she can rock sneakers, flats, and heels. I've never seen her look bad.

Even though she's most famous for dating Pharrell, she hosts parties and also directs music videos!

DJ Khaled- They Ready (Featuring J. Cole, Big K.R.I.T. && Kendrick Lamar)




First, I really dislike DJ Khaled. All he does is yell over tracks and sound stupid. However I've been a fan of J. Cole for a couple of years now, I think KRIT is cool && I'm in love with Kendrick Lamar so when I was told about this track I just had to hear it. I love the beat, and I think it's safe to say that all three MCs did their thing (Kendrick had the best verse IMO though).

Lord of the Rings

I L-O-V-E these rings! They're so cute && they remind me of mini versions of my multi-finger cross ring I made back in October. I still wear it faithfully && have since made another version of it. I feel like it adds the perfect amount of unexpected edge to a feminine outfit.

So Clutch

These clutches by Christian Louboutin are truly works of beauty! I want one so bad! You can dress these bags up or down and the spikes on the black one are so trendy.

Control Your Speech

I really needed to see this today. I have let my feelings push me to say things to others that I know I shouldn't say.

Pride, hurt feelings && a quick tongue make for an awful combination. The results of me not watching what I say have proved disastrous.

So I pray that God gives me the strength to put my pride to the side when it comes to those that I love, that he will give me the ability to watch what I say. I pray that he helps guide my tongue so that I only say things that I mean && so that I use my words to uplift && heal my loved ones instead of bringing them down && harming them. Amen.
